Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Sales Manager to join their team in Singapore.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build up a profitable business and set the market segment strategy. The successful candidate will develop and implement the country sales strategies, build strong relationships with key customers and ensure smooth project execution. What you'll do:

As a Country Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing our client's presence in Singapore. Your primary focus will be on understanding market requirements, identifying future business opportunities, and developing a robust sales strategy. You will work closely with the local Sales team to execute this strategy, ensuring revenue targets are met while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, managing finances effectively, and leading your team towards success.

  • Analyse and understand market requirements and identify future business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement country sales strategy in close collaboration with the local sales team.
  • Carry out sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability whilst having direct customer interaction.
  • Ensure smooth project execution and after-sales service with own staff and external service partners.
  • Ensure compliance to local laws, regulations, safety standards, group standards and data protection.
  • Build up and develop sales and service structures / organisation / processes / KPIs within country in accordance with group standards.
  • Enhance key account management to fully realise the customer value.
  • Efficient finance management, budget planning process, controlling and risk management as well as proper financial reporting in accordance with defined Group standards.
  • Select, motivate, and develop employees within the area of delegation.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Country Sales Manager role brings a wealth of experience in sales management, particularly within the technical products sector. With at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, you have developed a deep understanding of the Singapore pump market and have built strong networks with key stakeholders. Your degree in international business management or a technical field equips you with the knowledge to drive business growth. Your hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities make you an effective team leader.

  • Strong Sales Management background: minimum 5 years' experience in country or sales management position.
  • Min. 10 years experience in sales management of technical products.
  • High understanding of the Singapore pump market and competitive environment.
  • Strong network with key stakeholders in the market or ability to develop it.
  • Degree in international business management (MBA or similar) or technical field.
  • Hands-on mentality to empower a fast-growing organisation.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide, motivate and empower a diverse team.
  • Strong communication skills.
