They are currently seeking a Head of Sales to join their team in Singapore. This role is instrumental in specifying their products to Architects, Interior Designers, Developers and stakeholders for their projects, develop new business opportunities and create brand awareness in the industry. The successful candidate has experience managing a team and driving sales teams to reach their fullest potential.

As the Head of Sales, your role will be pivotal in promoting our client's diverse product portfolio among architects, designers, and developers throughout Singapore. You will lead a team of specification and sales executives, providing detailed product information while collaborating closely with architects and designers. Your proactive approach will help you seek out new clients expanding our market share while maintaining strong relationships with current clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of sales managers
  • Collaborate closely with architects and designers to ensure products are specified in their projects
  • Proactively seek out and establish relationships with new clients to expand market share
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
  • Conduct effective product presentations to architects, designers, and stakeholders to showcase our products' advantages
  • Track specification progress, success rates and manage follow-up activities to convert specifications into sales.
  • Work with internal teams, including marketing, accounts, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth sales management and project deliveries.
  • Gather and relay market insights to management for strategic decision-making.

As the Head of Sales, you will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the building materials or architectural products industry. Your strong understanding of product specifications and project lifecycles will be instrumental in this role. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will enable you to articulate technical information effectively to architects, designers, and developers. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role.

Key attributes:

  • Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Sales, Business Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the building materials or architectural products industry with proven track specification and sales track record.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams to success
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical information effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
