With applications over more than 50 industries and manufacturing facilities of over 100 sites, the firm is looking at a massive expansion across APAC. This is a newly created Business Development Manager job will report to a Business Director based in Singapore.
About the Business Development Manager Role: With a turnover of more than $700 mil euros yearly, this individual will be part of the firm's expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities across civil engineering, architecture, FMCG and biofuels industries
Work closely with Business Director on identifying key converters and distributors in APAC
Manage relationships with key decision makers and articulate product positioning
Manage the overall business strategy and growth plans here in Singapore
The successful candidate should have a strong interest in chemistry and a passion for selling coupled with the ability to grasp technical concepts.
Key Requirements:
A degree in engineering/chemical engineering
At least three years of sales and business development experience, both with end users and distributors
Analytical mind coupled with strong business acumen
Ability to translate a technical concept into a useful application
The firm has an entity in place in Singapore and is looking at expanding across APAC. This would be the first business development manager role so candidates can also expect to grow teams within the firm.
