An exciting new Regional Services Sales Manager job has become available at one of the world's renowned European machine tools provider based in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager, this is a role for a sales expert to increase revenue through services sales or after-sales services with clients across the SEA region.
About the Regional Services Sales Manager role:
This role is critical to ensure services are renewed and are extended to customers across the region, ensuring client base is provided with the right services and replacement parts for the machines. You will serve as an interface between subsidiary and the region concerning all services sales related matters and define the regional services strategy in cooperation with headquarters in Germany. You will also coordinate with Services Sales Managers in the region as well as Area Sales Management to achieve sales targets and raise market share for the company's services products.
- Regular alignment of sales activities with local services sales based on KPIs
- Define regional product strategy together with global sales and subsidiaries
- Initiate and coordinate promotion of services products activities with regional marketing
- Support the strengthening of local sales organisations in the region
- Support Area Sales Management, local Services Sales and Sales teams in selling (bundles of) services with new machines
- Provide regular updates to Area Sales Manager
To succeed in the Regional Services Sales Manager role, you will need to have commercial skills sets and the technical tenacity to effectively engage in technical discussion on machine tools with customers.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering / Management or equivalent related experience
- More than seven years' job experience, preferably in sales of services products for machine tools
- Motivation for sales and for cultivating customer relationships
- Good communication skills, independent, highly-motivated
- Ability to organise multiple tasks, analyse and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel across South East Asia (and occasionally to Germany)
