Regional Sales Manager

Save job

A leading global provider of fluid technology solutions is seeking a Singapore based Regional Sales Manager to oversee the Process Industries sector across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to join a supportive and inclusive organisation renowned for its commitment to sustainable value creation, innovation, and empowering every colleague to achieve their full potential.

What you'll do:

As Regional Sales Manager – Process Industries for Australia, New Zealand & Southeast Asia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business across multiple markets. Your day-to-day activities will involve guiding multicultural teams towards shared objectives while nurturing an environment built on mutual respect and open communication. You will be responsible for translating divisional strategies into actionable regional plans that empower your teams to excel in delivering customer-focused solutions.

  • Provide authentic leadership by coaching and advising direct reports and front-facing sales engineering teams to foster engagement, performance development, and an inclusive culture.
  • Build trust-based relationships at all levels within the organisation by driving accountability and empowering colleagues to make informed decisions that align with core values.
  • Champion a culture of safety, collaboration, customer focus, excellence, and respect across multi-cultural teams to deliver outstanding results in the region.
  • Communicate the vision, strategic direction, and purpose clearly to inspire both direct reports and customer-facing sales teams throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
  • Unite diverse teams under a common vision by promoting collaboration and shared goals within a supportive work environment.
  • Promote continuous learning by ensuring colleagues are constantly developing capabilities, knowledge, and expertise necessary for success within the company.
  • Support robust talent management initiatives across the region by identifying high-potential individuals and facilitating their growth within both the local business unit and wider group.
  • Manage change effectively by maintaining balance and stability during periods of transition or ambiguity while supporting colleagues through these changes.
  • Drive total customer solutions by aligning sector strategy with value chains and collaborating closely with central functions such as Finance, HR, Sales Support, EHS, and Supply Chain.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations in each operating country, as well as internal company policies to uphold ethical standards.

What you bring:

To excel as Regional Sales Manager – Process Industries in this forward-thinking organisation, you will bring proven experience leading large-scale sales operations across multiple countries or regions. Your background should include significant exposure to process industries such as food & beverage production or industrial manufacturing—enabling you to understand client needs deeply while anticipating emerging trends. You will possess excellent relationship-building abilities that allow you to connect meaningfully with colleagues from varied backgrounds; your approachability makes it easy for others to seek guidance or share ideas openly. Financial literacy is another strength: you are comfortable overseeing budgets/P&L statements without losing sight of long-term sustainability goals. Importantly, your leadership style emphasises empathy over assertiveness; you motivate others through encouragement rather than pressure—creating an atmosphere where everyone feels supported regardless of their role or background. Your dedication extends beyond immediate team members: you actively participate in broader talent management initiatives designed to help all employees grow professionally within the group.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience from an accredited university or college is essential for this position.
  • Demonstrated success as a visionary leader who has inspired high-performing sales teams in complex regional environments is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of process industries—such as food & beverage, industrial manufacturing, mining or water/wastewater—with deep insight into key sub-sectors and market trends is required.
  • Proven track record in developing regional strategic business development plans alongside effective key account management within aligned markets is expected.
  • Experience managing budgets with full P&L responsibility while focusing on sustainable growth outcomes is crucial for this role.
  • Strong commercial acumen evidenced by consistent achievement of ambitious sales targets through thoughtful planning rather than aggressive tactics is important.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships across diverse cultural backgrounds are vital for success here.
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including finance professionals or supply chain experts ensures smooth project delivery.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards by ensuring compliance with local laws/regulations as well as internal policies is mandatory.
  • A passion for nurturing talent through coaching/mentoring others—helping them develop new skills or advance their careers—is highly valued.
