What you'll do:

As Global Senior Manager Pricing and Product you will be at the forefront of transforming how this international business approaches both pricing strategy and product management. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you orchestrating complex governance processes that underpin all aspects of global pricing activity—from initial requests through to annual reviews—while ensuring alignment with customer segmentation strategies. You will take ownership of integrating advanced digital tools such as CPQ platforms and SAP systems to streamline workflows and automate critical processes like margin checks or exception handling. By developing innovative methodologies for peer price benchmarking and scenario modelling using business intelligence tools, you will empower sales teams with actionable insights that drive commercial success. Working hand-in-hand with colleagues from Innovation, Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and NPI functions across multiple geographies ensures your work has far-reaching impact on both current performance metrics as well as long-term strategic goals. Your ability to champion analytics-driven decision making will be crucial in building robust frameworks for predictive modelling while your collaborative approach ensures effective communication of policies throughout regional teams.

  • Lead the global governance framework for all pricing activities including new requests, annual reviews, cost pass-throughs, discount structures, trade terms, and margin control.
  • Ensure pricing decisions consistently deliver targeted margins across product families while maintaining competitive benchmarks aligned with customer segmentation strategies.
  • Integrate product servicing index (PSI), cost-to-serve logic, customer segmentation data, and premium pricing models into the overall pricing structure.
  • Drive continuous improvement through win/loss tracking analysis, price realisation studies, and monitoring of margin variances to inform future strategies.
  • Oversee the global usage of digital pricing portals (CPQ) ensuring digitised workflows, automated approvals, accurate costing inputs, and robust governance controls.
  • Lead SAP integration projects to achieve rapid quotation turnaround times by implementing automation rules for margin checks and exception pricing scenarios.
  • Develop methodologies for peer pricing adjustments based on market evolution and embed these into CPQ systems supported by business intelligence tools for sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Innovation and Sales teams to ensure that pricing supports product lifecycle priorities including competitiveness, margin targets, and customer value propositions.
  • Champion advanced analytics initiatives such as predictive modelling frameworks and BI dashboards to support data-driven decision making across the portfolio.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across multiple regions to align pricing strategies with broader commercial objectives while supporting tenders with compelling commercial storytelling.

What you bring:

To excel as Global Senior Manager Pricing and Product you will bring extensive experience gained from senior roles within commercial finance or B2B industrial sectors—ideally involving chemicals or manufacturing—where you have led complex pricing strategies or managed diverse product portfolios. Your academic background in business administration finance marketing engineering or similar fields equips you with the theoretical grounding necessary for sophisticated decision making. Beyond technical expertise your proven ability to collaborate across functions such as sales finance operations innovation supply chain NPI is essential for aligning diverse perspectives towards shared commercial objectives. You are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously often under tight deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy. Your communication style is clear concise yet empathetic allowing you to bridge gaps between technical specialists non-specialists alike while fostering an inclusive environment built on mutual respect trust.   • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline providing a solid foundation for commercial decision making in an industrial context.
  • Thirteen to fifteen years’ experience in commercial finance roles or within B2B industrial or chemicals sectors focusing on pricing strategy or product/portfolio management at scale.
  • Demonstrated track record leading large-scale pricing operations or product management initiatives within multinational environments requiring close cross-functional collaboration.
  • Advanced analytical skills including expert-level proficiency in Excel along with strong capabilities in PowerPoint presentations and business intelligence tools such as BI dashboards.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English enabling clear communication of complex concepts across diverse stakeholder groups globally.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively within fast-moving international settings while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills facilitating effective stakeholder engagement across Sales, Finance Operations Product Innovation Supply Chain NPI functions both regionally globally.
  • Experience driving adoption of new processes or technologies through structured project leadership fostering behavioural change among distributed teams.
  • Ability to simplify complexity when communicating technical information ensuring broad understanding among non-specialist audiences within the organisation.
