Work for one of the world's largest and most renowned consumer electronics company. Based in Singapore, the Regional Sales Director (TV), will be an integral member of the regional TV/AV team.
About the Regional Sales Director (TV) Role:
Reporting to the Regional CEO, the individual will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve long term growth for the business. You will be expected to provide strategic direction and support to the subsidiaries in SE Asia and Oceania by working closely with relevant stakeholders in Headquarters and Subsidiaries to deliver the business KPIs as assigned.
- Accountable for top-line and bottom-line of regional business performance in Revenue, Profit and category market share
- Provide clear strategic directions to subsidiaries covering cross functions of Product Marketing, Sales, Marketing Communications and Channel
- Collaborate closely with HQ and subsidiary's cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of business strategies and plans at country-level
- Manage regional Product portfolio, Go-to-market competitiveness and its product life-cycle
- Hold and chair weekly business meetings to track business progress and influence results/impact
- Manage a team of regional senior managers and managers as direct reports
To succeed in the role, you are someone who has a deep understanding of the TV business and is innovative and non-traditional in monetising this channel. You are also entrepreneurial in nature, has good regional exposure, and possess a great drive to the grow the business.
- Degree preferably in Business or the equivalent with at least 15 years' sales/marketing experience with TV/AV Products and at least five years in a senior managerial role
- Experience in both regional and subsidiary capacity is preferred
- Strong organisation navigation skills and people management experience
- Good understanding of marketing and demand generation activities with ability to deliver results
- Good analytical and high adaptability skills with winning mindset
