The Country Sales Manager will be part of the senior management and take full responsibility for all aspects of sales, BD and marketing in Singapore.
About the Country Sales Manager Role:
Based in Singapore, you will be part of the senior management team and take full responsibility for all aspects of sales, BD and marketing in Singapore. The role is autonomous in nature and you must be comfortable working within an environment that is both dynamic and ever changing.
- Support the CEO developing the long-term and short-term sales goals for the business
- Bring a collaborative and hands-on approach to the work
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Build and train a local business development/sales team
- Deliver agreed performance within budget (performance include P&L, market share, and customer satisfaction targets)
- In charge of contract negotiation and legal activities: client contracts, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and other documents
- Manage relationships with partners/ vendors
- Lead generation of prospective customers in Singapore
- Commercial negotiations with key prospects
- Sales target (TBD) for 2018
- Client relationship management and contract management
To succeed in this Country Sales Manager role, you should have prior experience in building a team in a logistics and technology firm.
- BA in Business administration or MBA
- Five to eight years' experience in general management responsibility in the tech and logistics industry
- Proven track record in P&L management
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Experience in fund-raising is a plus
- Working knowledge of data analytics and performance metrics
- Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A structured problem solver with pragmatism and also foresight
