Our client is a consumer research and analytics company that thrives in the data-driven world of rapid change. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role offers an opportunity to work with best-in-class technology, smart automation, and an amazing team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for building strong relationships with clients and a keen eye for sales opportunities.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's sales initiatives in Singapore. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include outbound prospecting, pitching offerings to leads and working closely with the customer success and research team to deliver on projects and identify other sales opportunities. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date CRM and sales reports. This role requires a creative eye for sales opportunities and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Outbound prospecting and lead development
  • Pitching offerings to leads to land on-site pitch meetings with prospective clients
  • Full cycle hunter role - prospecting, managing relationships and closing
  • Working closely with customer success and research team to deliver on projects
  • Maintaining up-to-date CRM and sales reports

The ideal Business Development Manager will bring 3-6 years of experience in a sales or client services role, preferably from within the market research space. Experience in selling data-related/market research solutions is preferred. A strong track record in achieving sales targets will set you apart. You should have working knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and a reasonable command of English. Most importantly, you should have a knack for building strong relationships with clients.

Key attributes:

  • 3-6 years of working experience in a sales or client services role
  • Experience in selling data-related/market research solutions is preferred
  • Strong track record in achieving sales targets is preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
