Manager, Sales

Work for Constellar, one of Asia's fastest growing and most renowned MICE and events conglomerates. Known in the region for its quality service and award winning events, they are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Head of MICE Sales, you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Portfolio Director to establish and execute sales strategies and sales objectives
• Generate on new business leads, through customer relationship development, cold calling, attendance at industry related events and market research
• Development of brand and industry specific knowledge to enhance and improve new business sales performance
• Collaboration with Marketing team to develop attraction campaigns which could drive business development opportunities
• Support in the retention of existing customers
• To account manage newly acquired customers through their first show cycle to ensure a positive experience and provide resolution advice where necessary, working with other departments (e.g. Marketing, Brand or Operations)
• Liaise with the Portfolio Director in relation to key high value new customers

The successful candidate has strong MICE and event sales experience.

Key attributes:

• Degree in Business
• At least five years of corporate sales experience, with a passion for the MICE/travel space
• Dynamic individual who enjoys building relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally
• Strong ability to sell out of the box solutions
