An International Sponsorship Sales Manager job has become available at one the world's largest and most successful economic and business intelligence think tank/research organisation. With more than 50,000 C-suite members across multiple verticals, we are presently seeking an International Sponsorship Sales Manager to join the expanding team. This is a newly created role.
About the International Sponsorship Sales Manager Role:
Reporting to the MD for Asia, you will be required to build a sponsorship sales plan and identify key events that will drive relationships with key partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and grow sponsorship revenues across Asia and Middle East
- Work with the MD to identify key events for sponsorships
- Increase revenue and generate new business primarily from new event sponsors across both custom and scheduled
- Track and gather intelligence on competitive offerings whilst conducting market assessment to drive competitive advantage
- Work across research and sales teams to identify additional revenue opportunities
- Work with teams on contract negotiation and cross sell
The successful candidate has more than six years of work experience in a sponsorship sales role, preferably within the business intelligence/events space.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in business
- At least six years of sponsorship sales experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A hunter who has a strong customer-service mindset
This is a brand new role/team the firm has created for this region outside of US so candidates can expect opportunities to build a sales plan from scratch. You will also be expect to grow the team with time.
