Sales Manager

A newly created Sales Manager job opportunity has become available at one of Asia’s top leading industry expert knowledge services providers.

About the Sales Manager Role:
Reporting to the General Manager of SEA, you will drive retention of key accounts across the region. You will also be given the opportunity to grow a dedicated pool of clients under your care, leveraging existing relationships with the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibit the business’s unique value proposition across the entire suite of research services
• Drive lead generation by connecting with prospects through good written and verbal communications
• Grow and manage existing accounts to identify additional opportunities such as new users and up-selling opportunities
• Obtain commitment for an initial visit or initial call along with the General Manager
• Drive user acquisition and prospecting strategies targeted at growth in SEA
• Manage pipelines and grow the business’s presence in this region

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong sales experience, preferably in the financial, recruiting, insurance, education and B2B services space.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in business (marketing or finance)
• At least three years of sales experience. Inside sales experience is an advantage
• An excellent communicator coupled with good written and verbal communication skills
• A keen learner with ability to build relationships across all levels within the organisation
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented mindset can be successful in a team as well as an individual player
• A go-getter in uncovering opportunities to sell
