An leading, award-winning economic research firm is looking for several Regional Sales Executives to be based in their Singapore office to sell their suite of information and business intelligence solutions. In this job, you will report directly to the Sales Director for APAC and be responsible for driving business growth through prospecting and closing new business.
About the Regional Sales Executive Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director for APAC who is based in Singapore, your main responsibility will be to hunt for and close new business.
- Prospect for business in order to close sales and therefore exploit currently untapped opportunities
- Develop target hit lists to prioritise outbound effort
- Work through our existing database of leads whilst building a self-generated pipeline of new prospects
- Meet and exceed revenue target, increase market penetration by acquiring new customers
- Manage end-to-end sales process from cold call to close
- Accurate reporting of sales pipelines and forecasts
To succeed in this Regional Sales Executive role, you will need to be a driven, hungry salesperson with a proven track record of success.
- Two to five years' sales experience in a hunter (new logo) sales capacity
- Proven track record of hitting monthly sales targets consistently
- Experience of the full sales cycle from lead generation, cold contacting, trial, demonstrating a service/product, pricing and closing sales
- Strong ability to generate and manage a robust and voluminous pipeline on a consistent basis
- Good experience of largely office based/telephone sales with some field sales experience
- Experience selling subscription-based business intelligence services and/or selling into the financial services sector
- Motivated self-starter with a strong commitment to succeed
- Organised, persistent, tenacious and persuasive with the proven ability to generate his/her own leads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can be demonstrated within a sales environment
- Strong team player who shows commitment to the wider organisation working together, enjoys competition and adding value to achieve success
