An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join a leading machinery manufacturer. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with teams and is passionate about driving growth through strategic sales initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, expanding the sales network, and providing on-site technical advice to customers.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy. You will collaborate closely with various teams to create sales plans, conduct market analyses, and launch new products. Your role will also involve expanding our sales network within the region, monitoring key performance indicators, and keeping an eye on the competition. You will provide on-site technical advice to our customers, showcasing our top-of-the-line road construction machinery. In addition, you will chair consultations and sales pitches, secure new customers, and provide unwavering support to our sales organisation.

  • Collaborate closely with subsidiaries and dealers regarding conception and implementation of the growth-oriented sales strategy
  • Monitor key performance indicators regularly, keep an eye on the competition in the sales territory
  • Create sales plans and market analyses, launch strategy for new products, coordinate sales activities
  • Expand the sales network within the region
  • Provide on-site technical advice and support to customers, showcase road construction machinery
  • Chair consultations and sales pitches, secure new customers

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a wealth of experience in the machinery space. You should hold a degree in industrial engineering or have a technical training qualification in mechanical engineering. Experience in customer support or a technical role within the field of construction machinery or complex capital goods is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills are essential for this role, along with high levels of autonomy, resilience and flexibility.
