Senior / Business Development Executive

A prestigious and forward-thinking law firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join its highly regarded team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact within a leading legal environment, working closely with lawyers and senior stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and support high-profile client programmes.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate the preparation of client RFPs, pitches, presentations, and government tenders to ensure compelling submissions that align with strategic objectives.
  • Organise and manage regular key client team meetings, ensuring they are productive, action-oriented, and focused on strengthening important client relationships.
  • Assist key client teams in developing and implementing account plans that pursue strategic priorities, meet financial targets, and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Support business development events by managing guest lists, sending invitations, coordinating venues, preparing materials, and overseeing on-site logistics for seamless execution.
  • Conduct thorough research on existing and prospective clients as well as competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of priority sectors, deal activity, and market developments to inform strategic targeting efforts and enhance client acquisition strategies.
  • Coordinate the firm’s participation in sponsorships, conferences, memberships, and business development trips to raise its profile within the industry.
  • Prepare or manage submissions for industry publications such as Chambers Asia Pacific or Legal 500 Asia Pacific while coordinating interviews with relevant stakeholders.
  • Draft new collateral content including capability statements, brochures, legal profiles, and manage contributions of Asia-focused material to international marketing resources.
  • Advise on effective use of digital channels such as social media accounts, website updates, e-marketing campaigns, client alerts, bulletins, knowledge portals, ensuring consistent messaging.

What you bring:

  • At least five years of experience in business development or marketing roles within professional services industries is highly desirable but not mandatory if you have equivalent expertise.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration, Law or related disciplines provide a solid foundation for success in this position.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is considered advantageous as it supports efficient management of client information and relationship tracking.
  • Excellent project management skills are required along with keen attention to detail when handling multiple concurrent assignments or deadlines.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with individuals at all levels across the organisation ensures smooth coordination of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) enables efficient preparation of reports or presentation materials.
  • Demonstrated business acumen combined with analytical skills allows you to interpret market data accurately for informed decision-making.
  • A high level of professionalism coupled with integrity underpins your interactions both internally among colleagues as well as externally with clients or partners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability enable you to thrive amid changing priorities typical of fast-paced environments while maintaining composure under pressure.
