What you'll do:
As Regional Sales Manager Electronics, you will play an instrumental role in driving the success of the electronics division throughout Southeast Asia. - Formulate and propose short- and mid-term plans for the electronics business in Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct weekly forecasting of sales cycles and provide quarterly and annual business planning forecasts to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Support demand planners by delivering accurate customer sales forecasts to optimise stock planning, logistics costs, and timely supply to customers.
- Set strategic objectives for resource allocation and market segment planning to maximise profitable growth within designated channels.
- Create and execute comprehensive business strategies for targeted market segments, enhancing geographical coverage through structured approaches to new opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with global teams—including regional sales, product managers, R&D, marketing, technical service engineers—to implement projects tailored for Southeast Asia.
- Lead the electronics sales team in Southeast Asia by providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Establish senior-level relationships with key customers across the region while ensuring sufficient customer penetration within each market segment.
- Monitor major KPIs related to sales development and financial objectives; direct team efforts towards maintaining robust project pipelines and timely project closures.
- Utilise digital sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to generate lead lists, identify key decision makers, and create transparency on key accounts.

- At least 8 years of experience in sales within the electronics industry is essential; including spec-in process experience as well as 2-3 years in a leadership capacity with regional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in management reporting along with proficiency using MS Office suite and CRM systems is necessary for effective performance tracking.
- A strong background in the Southeast Asian electronics market coupled with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends is highly desirable.
- Experience working within matrix organisations is advantageous as it supports effective cross-functional collaboration across regions.
- An engineering or chemical background would be considered beneficial but not essential for this role.
- Exceptional communication skills combined with stakeholder management abilities are vital for building trust-based relationships internally and externally.
