A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Business Development and Marketing Executive to join their Singapore office, supporting the Asia practice in a pivotal regional role.

What you'll do:

  • Support the delivery of business development and marketing services for the Asia practice by collaborating closely with fee earners to draft compelling pitches and credentials documents tailored by practice area, team, and sector.
  • Assist in managing formal RFI/RFP processes at both regional and global levels by coordinating with the Global Brand, Clients and Markets team to ensure timely submissions.
  • Prepare fee earners for effective relationship-building meetings with clients and prospects by providing guidance on best practices for engagement and follow-up.
  • Facilitate regular internal discussions among fee earners to promote information sharing, offer advice on profile raising strategies, and drive market reputation through articles, client alerts, blogs, and seminar content.
  • Contribute to the global Key Account Programme by supporting local practice group activities in Singapore and feeding relevant information into firmwide business development initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing legal directory submissions for Asia by collating data, reviewing content for accuracy, submitting entries on time, and communicating results internally and externally as appropriate.
  • Draft new collateral content such as capability statements, brochures, legal profiles, and manage contributions of Asia-focused material to international marketing resources.
  • Collaborate with the global Digital Team to drive Asia content through social media channels including LinkedIn and WeChat while promoting greater digital engagement among fee earners.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in business development or marketing roles within professional services environments—ideally gained in law firms or similar settings—with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written communication skills enabling you to draft clear, persuasive pitches as well as engaging marketing collateral tailored for different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities allowing you to build rapport with partners, fee earners, clients, external agencies—and collaborate effectively across borders with colleagues based in Hong Kong or the UK.
  • Proficiency in managing RFI/RFP processes at regional or global level—including coordination of inputs from multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Experience supporting legal directory submissions (such as Chambers & Partners or Legal 500), including collation of data points from various sources; familiarity with award submission processes is advantageous.
