What you'll do:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the ongoing expansion of our client's business in the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for developing new channel and sales strategies that ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability. Your role will involve collaborating with country partners to plan sales forecasts and budgets, assisting them in business negotiations, and proactively identifying and proposing new business opportunities. You will also measure and track country performance in terms of sales growth and market penetration.
- Support business strategy for assigned region in accordance with company directions
- Collaborate with country partners to plan sales forecast and budget
- Assist country partners in business negotiation to maximize business opportunities
- Proactively identify and propose business opportunities
- Measure and track country performance in terms of sales growth and market penetration
- Work cohesively with global product team to identify key product strategies and localize into assigned regions
What you bring:
The ideal Business Development Specialist will bring a wealth of experience, with at least three years in Sales/Marketing or Business Development roles. They should hold a Diploma or Business Degree in a related field, have proficiency in Microsoft applications, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to deliver presentations in English is essential. Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries would be advantageous, as would the talent and aptitude to analyse and solve problems independently.
