Our client is a global coffee & tea company with a rich history are currently seeking a Key Account Specialist to join their team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work with iconic household names available in over 140 countries around the world.

What you'll do:

As a Key Account Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's presence in the Asian region. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of designing business development strategies that align with the company's vision. Your role will involve launching new products in selected export countries, managing distributor relations, and delivering sustainable sales growth. You will also monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. This role requires a high level of collaboration, commitment, and understanding.

  • Design business development strategy, product portfolio and go-to-market strategy for the assigned markets.
  • Execute new product launches in selected export countries.
  • Manage distributor selection and relations.
  • Prepare Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the assigned countries, factoring cost savings and financial targets.
  • Deliver sustainable sales growth and financial targets in the short and medium term.
  • Monitor trade spend and provide sales and volume forecasting on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Liaise with markets and Legal Department regarding local legal requirements.

What you bring:

The ideal Key Account Specialist brings a wealth of international commercial business experience along with a proven track record in defining and implementing sales strategies across different countries. You have solid experience working with FMCG products and have successfully driven sustainable and profitable business growth through efficient distributor management. A sound financial understanding is crucial as you will be managing P&L for your assigned markets. Your university education in a business-related field will be a strong foundation for your role.

  • University education with a degree, preferably in a business related subject e.g. Business Administration; Business Studies, Economics
  • Minimum 3-5 years of international commercial business experience
  • Proven track record on defining and implementing the sales strategy in different countries
  • Experience in driving efficient specific different distributors (sustainable & profitable business growth)
  • Solid experience in FMCG products
  • Sound financial understanding and a record of managing a P&L
