Regional Sales Manager An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join a leading global organisation. This role is based in Singapore and covers the regions of Singapore, Riau Islands, Philippines and Guam.

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business across Singapore, Riau Islands, Philippines and Guam. You will develop sales strategies that not only target but also expand our customer base. Your ability to manage relationships with channel partners will be crucial in driving profitability. With your solutions-based approach, you will ensure that we are meeting the needs of our end-users. Leveraging our global product sourcing options, you will identify the most competitive and profitable product offerings for the market. Your commitment to customer service and continuous improvement will see you succeed in this role.

  • Develop sales and market share in Singapore, Riau Islands, Philippines and Guam
  • Support industry segment sales approach in a marketplace which includes world leaders in Offshore, Shipbuilding, Structural Steel, & Processing Plants
  • Create a plan to achieve sales targets through implementation of aggressive strategies to grow market share and increase sales
  • Manage distributor relationships with our channel partners
  • Sell in a solutions-based approach at the end-user level
  • Understand and leverage our global product sourcing options to best determine our most competitive and profitable product offerings for the market
  • Drive customer service and sales improvement by leveraging resources in the SE Asia region
  • Complete compliance training as required and conduct business in accordance with Code of Conduct

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings advanced knowledge and experience in technical sales with a focus on welding application. With more than 5 years' experience in a senior sales role, you have developed excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills. Your strong organisational and communication abilities will be key to managing relationships with channel partners and end-users. A degree in Engineering or a Business-related field is preferred. Your ability to coach and guide sales staff, distributors and customers will be crucial to your success in this role. Recognised as a knowledgeable welding resource, you also possess strong commercial acumen.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in technical sales with a focus on welding application
  • More than 5 years’ experience in a senior sales role
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and written and verbal communication ability
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or Business related field – preferred
  • Ability to coach and guide sales staff, distributors and customers
  • Recognised as a knowledgeable welding resource
  • Strong commercial acumen
