Sales Manager (Data Centre) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and well-organised individual to join an emerging enterprise in Singapore that provides thermal management solutions for IT and Data Centre applications. This role offers the chance to develop long-term strategic account relationships, initially in Singapore, then globally.

As a Sales Manager in the Data Centre sector, you will play a pivotal role in developing long-term strategic account relationships. Your ability to sell solutions to both existing customers and new prospects will be crucial in this role. You will drive the entire sales process, from qualifying opportunities to closing deals. Your responsibilities will also include preparing business proposals for customers, nurturing opportunities, articulating compelling value propositions, presenting our solutions effectively, hosting customers at our showroom, and working independently on tender submissions.

  • Developing long-term strategic account relationships, initially in Singapore, then expanding business globally
  • Solution selling to existing customer base and new prospects, both direct and through partners
  • Driving the entire sales process; responsible for opportunity qualification and development, proposal development and customer reviews, negotiations and deal closure
  • Preparing and providing business proposals to customers
  • Nurturing opportunities and filling pipeline by active engagement with prospects, key customers and partners
  • Articulating compelling value propositions and developing executive relationship with C-suite and key stakeholders within accounts
  • Presenting our solution to clients and consultants effectively
  • Hosting customers and consultants to our showroom and selling our solution
  • Working on tender submission within deadline independently

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sales Manager (Data Centre) position brings a wealth of experience in thermal management solution selling and new business development within enterprise and/or datacenter customers. You will have a strong track record of achievement in managing sales and exceeding all targets. Your strong relationship management skills, clear verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently within small teams will be key to your success in this role. Experience in cooling solutions is preferred, along with strong negotiating skills. An innovative mindset with the ability to foresee market conditions is essential, as is an extrovert personality with a winning, collaborative attitude.

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in thermal management solution selling and new business development within enterprise and/or datacenter customers
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred, or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • Sales orientation demonstrating strong track record of achievement in managing sales and exceeding all targets
  • Strong relationship management skills, clear verbal and written communication skills
  • High-energy, motivated self-starter, ability to work independently within small teams
  • Experience in cooling solutions preferred
  • Strong Negotiating skills
  • Innovative mindset with ability to foresee market conditions
  • Extrovert with a sales mindset with winning, collaborative attitude
