What you'll do:

As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's expansion across the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for developing new channel and sales strategies, collaborating closely with country partners to plan sales forecasts and budgets. Your ability to negotiate effectively within local contexts will be crucial in maximising business opportunities. You will also be expected to provide holistic solutions for developing market businesses, while ensuring adherence to company policies and guidelines. Working seamlessly with the global product team, you will help identify key product strategies and localise them into your assigned regions.

  • Support business strategy for assigned region in accordance with company directions
  • Collaborate with country partners to plan sales forecast and budget
  • Assist country partners in business negotiation within local context to maximize business opportunities
  • Provide holistic solutions in developing market businesses for the benefit of the company
  • Identify and propose business opportunities proactively
  • Track country performance in terms of sales growth and market penetration
  • Ensure all executions and plans adhere to company policies and guidelines
  • Work cohesively with global product team to identify key product strategies and localize into assigned regions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in Sales/Marketing, particularly within Business Development. With at least a Diploma or Business Degree in a related field, you have demonstrated your ability to grow and sustain sales revenue over a minimum of three years. Your proficiency in Microsoft applications is essential, as is your ability to deliver presentations in English. Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries would be advantageous, as would your aptitude for independent problem-solving and excellent communication skills.

  • Diploma or Business Degree in related field
  • Ability to deliver presentations in English
  • Minimum 3 years of Sales/Marketing in Business Development experience, with a proven track record of growing and sustaining sales revenue
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries is desirable
  • Aptitude to analyse and solve problems independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
