A Regional Sales Manager (APJ) job based in Singapore has been made available in a Global Cloud Delivery and Security platform. You will be leading a team of 5 Account Executives based in offices across APJ, where you will help to grow the region and maintain the leadership position in the market.
About the Regional Sales Manager (APJ) Role:
As the Regional Sales Manager (APJ) based in Singapore, you will be leading a team of five Account Executives based in offices across APJ, where you will help to grow the region and maintain the leadership position in the market. You should have a balance of strategic and tactical sales expertise, a structured methodology for managing the sales process and more accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly business. A proven track record in Solution Selling to effectively develop and close business is a must.
- Developing and executing the annual and quarterly Carrier APJ GTM plan to reach the business results and maintain the leadership position in the market
- Leading and developing sales and assist the Service Line management in developing pre-sales technical consulting professional services and account services teams
- Maximising revenue generation within a set of target accounts and prospect sub-verticals
- Rolling out global and local sales productivity programs
- Developing executive level relationships within existing customers, target vertical opportunities and sales partners
- Setting the strategy and objectives to achieve the revenue and productivity objectives established in the annual business plan
- Executing a successful partner and alliance strategy and ensure it is effectively structured
To succeed in the role, you must have strong knowledge of some combination of Internet infrastructure, enterprise software, cyber security, SAAS and PAAS concepts, and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in selling Carrier-grade technology products or services to Telecom operators and ISPs
- At least five years of sales management, territory management experience, proven ability in building and developing high performance teams
- Experience at leading more than five direct reports
- Having industry contacts with telco/carrier customers and partners in APJ is advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in the DNS security space will be a strong advantage
- Extensive expertise in selling and managing Carrier and Telco customers and understanding of DNS security
- Possess formal sales training in solution selling and/or value and successfully executing complex sales cycles with CXOs
- Possess strong knowledge of Internet, cloud platform, telecom and networking concepts, demonstrates the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction
