What you'll do:

- Manage the professional end-user segment of public and government accounts throughout Singapore, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
- Develop strong business relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the public sector ecosystem, including agencies such as LTA, SMRT, HDB, Nparks, PUB, Sports SG, and their associated specifiers and contractors.
- Execute sales strategies aligned with local market trends to achieve operational targets while identifying new business opportunities within the government segment.
- Establish and nurture enduring partnerships with customers to position the organisation as the preferred provider of advanced lighting products and solutions.
- Proactively seek out new opportunities in the public/government sector by leveraging your network and understanding of customer needs.
- Oversee sales pipeline management activities by tracking progress against targets and reporting regularly to the regional leadership team.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions tailored to complex public sector requirements.
- Stay informed about industry developments in lighting technology, IoT ecosystems, and sustainability initiatives relevant to public infrastructure projects.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, tenders, presentations, and meetings with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute insights into product development by sharing feedback from clients regarding emerging trends or unmet needs in the public sector.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore’s B2B end-user business landscape coupled with an established network among contractors, engineers, architects, specifiers and other relevant professionals.
- Demonstrated expertise navigating government tender processes along with familiarity working directly with agencies like LTA, SMRT, HDB or similar organisations.
- Technical proficiency gained from an engineering background—preferably related to lighting or electrical systems—enabling effective communication with both technical teams and clients.
- Experience or understanding of IoT solution selling ecosystems is highly desirable for this role given the increasing integration of smart technologies into public infrastructure projects.
- Outstanding communication skills in both English and local languages are required for engaging diverse audiences during presentations or negotiations.
