They are currently seeking an Assistant Commercial Development Manager to support their Southeast Asia operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive commercial development within the region, focusing on sales operations planning, performance reporting, trade spend management and ROI enhancement.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Commercial Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Commercial Development for Southeast Asia. Your primary responsibilities will include managing annual sales operations planning, sales performance reporting, monitoring and root cause analysis. You will also oversee trade spend management and work towards strengthening ROI. A key aspect of your role will involve monitoring execution plans and making proactive course corrections as necessary. You will also be responsible for driving market and channel insights oriented reporting and remediations. Additionally, you will enhance the distributor management system (DMS) and collaborate with Country Sales Managers to drive year-on-year ROI improvement.

  • Support the Head of Commercial Development Southeast Asia in driving the commercial development within the region
  • Manage annual sales operations planning, sales performance reporting, monitoring and root cause analysis
  • Oversee trade spend management and strengthen ROI

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Commercial Development Manager role should hold a University Degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance or Marketing. You should bring relevant experience with solid market knowledge including understanding of Traditional & Modern Trade, Impulse Channel as well as Channel & Customer planning; prior experience in the FMCG industry is strongly preferred. You should possess good analytical and data reading skills, insight orientated reporting, strategic thinking, and project management abilities. Your ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders will be crucial in this role. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to contribute individually and be a strong team member. We value proactivity, high level of responsibility and accountability, dynamism and agility, resilience. The ability to work in a high-paced environment, high result orientation, multi-tasking and time-management skills are also important. Advanced MS Office skills: Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI; SAP knowledge is considered a plus.
