Senior Channel Manager, HORECA & Retail
Our client is seeking a Senior Channel Manager for the HORECA & RETAIL sector in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management and customer strategy vision, ensuring best-in-class execution and delivery of key commercial objectives.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Channel Manager, your primary focus will be on developing the HORECA & RETAIL channel acceleration roadmap for our portfolio. You will be required to lead the channel to achieve defined business targets, build and maintain/secure strong relationship with key business partners and inspire them to deliver best-in-class brand activations for our portfolio. Your role will also involve regular updates to Leadership Team and other relevant internal stakeholders on performance, HORECA & RETAIL landscape, consumer trends, competition activities.
- Develop, manage and execute the channel strategy, communicating the channel's vision and roadmap.
- Plan, establish and implement the annual sales budget (AOP), quarterly forecasts (LEs) and strategies for HORECA & RETAIL channel.
- Contribute to gross-to-net revenue maximisation through effective Commercial strategies.
- Work with importers & wholesalers on alignment of allocations, target distribution and fulfilment of order deliveries to outlets BPs.
- Drive best-in-class HORECA & RETAIL Distribution Segmentation and Strategic Visibility execution excellence.
- Ensure high quality consumer activation in terms of programme planning and implementation.
- Uphold governance and controls process for HORECA & RETAIL spend budgets.
- Lead, coach, develop and drive a high performing, capable HORECA & RETAIL team.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Channel Manager role will bring extensive experience in B2B sales leadership or national key account management within consumer goods segment. You should have a deep understanding of the HORECA & RETAIL dynamics in Singapore. You should be driven, self-motivated, proactive and positive with a can-do mindset. Strong negotiation, numerical and analytical skills are essential, as is effective time management and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- At least 10 years B2B sales leadership or national key account management capacity in premium consumer goods segment.
- Understanding of the HORECA & RETAIL dynamics of the wine and spirits landscape.
- Appreciation for wine and spirits category, and the nightlife lifestyle.
- Driven, self-motivated, proactive and positive with a can-do mindset.
- Strong negotiation, numerical and analytical skills.
- Effective time management and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
