Our client is seeking a dedicated Singapore based Key Account Manager with a focus on Housing and Development Board (HDB) projects. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, providing technical specifications, and promoting tile products and services. What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager (HDB Specialist), your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing robust relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions. Your expertise in technical specifications will be crucial in promoting our client's products. You will work closely with various stakeholders including HDB project distributors, main contractors, etc., ensuring the effective specification and application of products to HDB jobs. Your ability to anticipate customer needs, develop strategic sales & marketing plans, conduct competitive analysis, participate in project tendering processes, provide expert advice on product specifications will be key to your success.

  • Ensure smooth execution of key accounts servicing for selected accounts in line with management direction
  • Work closely with customers to identify and anticipate their evolving needs for long-term growth
  • Develop and implement sales & marketing plans to achieve sales targets and increase brand visibility & credibility
  • Build up and maintain strong working relationships with existing and potential customers for new business opportunities
  • Liaise with customers concerning market activities, sales, deliveries, complaints, new product development, factory visits, payment terms and collection
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasting activities and ensure achievement of forecasted sales
  • Conduct competitive analysis and report market information
  • Participate in project tendering process (HDB material listings)
  • Provide expert advice on product specifications, installation methods and performance standards

What you bring:

The ideal Key Account Manager (HDB Specialist) brings a wealth of experience in key account management along with a deep understanding of Housing Development Board (HDB) projects. Your ability to develop strategic sales & marketing plans coupled with your excellent relationship-building skills will be instrumental in this role. You have a proven track record of conducting competitive analysis and reporting market information. Your knowledge of product specifications, installation methods and performance standards related to the tiles industry will be highly valued.
