Our client is seeking a Business Manager for their Food & Pharma division based in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team that values innovation, collaboration and the development of its employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, driving new business revenue with existing and potential customers, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What you'll do:

As a Business Manager in the Food & Pharma division, your primary objective will be to drive new business revenue with both existing and potential customers. You will be tasked with building and maintaining relationships to promote product sales while ensuring customer relationships are optimized to achieve sales targets.

  • Achieve or exceed sales/product mix targets of allocated territory/product ranges/services
  • Build and maintain relationship to promote instrumentation and reagents sales
  • Execute meeting plans of actions as agreed with Sales Management
  • Interact cross-departmental co-operation, leading to best possible and efficient team work
  • Report on sales, activity and territory performance as required by organization

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Business Manager role will have a BS/BA degree in a Science or Business-related field. A background in Biology, Bacteriology or a premedical or medical degree would be advantageous.

  • BS/BA degree in Science/ Microbiology/ Biology
  • Previous life sciences sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years selling experience, to Food or Pharma QC lab is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of product ranges/services/solutions and Sales strategy.
  • Very good organization, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
