About the Sales Manager SGMY Role: Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing its retail and HORECA accounts to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering profitable sales growth in the region (retail and HORECA) aligned with the business’s objectives
Maintaining relevant market and consumer knowledge as well as the company categories and competitive set in the market
Completing market research as and when required on pricing, distribution channels, customer demographics, product positioning and effectively analyse the research gathered to draw conclusions for strategy development
Understanding customer needs and requirements, maintaining a close working relationship with customers, delivering prompt and professional services and solutions for customers’ inquiries, requests, and complaints
Conducting customer meetings, produce internal meeting minutes, and follow-up with customers after meeting
Developing and coordinating the strategy, planning & execution of in store promotions, activations, and new product launches
Collating month-end sales reports from all trade partners
Generating relevant data for budgeting and strategy planning
Negotiating contract terms with customers and communicating terms to internal stakeholders
Working closely with Customer Service and Supply Chain to support customer fulfilment requirements
Supporting any ad hoc projects and events
Identifying new business opportunities in the region and developing and executing go-to-market plans to take advantage of those opportunities
Planning and preparing proposals and decks for prospective customers
To succeed in this Sales Manager SGMY role, you will need to demonstrate a good business acumen, resilence and agile to learn mindset.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of three years’ experience in CPG (Large retail account manager/buyer experience is desirable)
High level of written and spoken English
MS proficiency across Excel, Word, Teams
