A newly created Territory Sales Manager job has become available at a leading MedTech company. Based in Singpore, the successful candidate will be responsibe for driving sales across Singapore. The Territory Manager will provide expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians, CathLab staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of products during case procedures, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.
About the Territory Sales Manager Role: Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Territory Sales Manager will need to possess strong sales, business planning and clinical skills as to sell and promote company products, achieve customer satisfaction and, drive growth within a defined territory. This will be accomplished by developing new accounts and expanding usage of company products within current accounts to meet company objectives and sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, physician trainings and allied healthcare worker training
Educates customers and internal employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of our products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest product and technology developments for the SH portfolio
Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support, trainings, and CMEs
Provides ongoing and appropriate clinical and technical training and support to customers directly
Visits customers and/or potential customers on a regular and planned basis to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and promote our products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager
Manages existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager
Plans and develops the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimising available tools (consignment, etc.)
Cultivating strong business relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff
Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions
Develops advanced clinical knowledge and skillset eg clinical knowledge of TAVI and LAAC, ultrasound measurements, CT measurements, using of CT measurement software
Develop sales skillset and manage inventory, forecasts, billings, tenders, and quotations
Analyses and reports to the Manager and/or others (monthly and year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools
To be successful in this Territory Sales Manager role, you will need to have a strong clinical background with proven sales track record.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Engineering or Nursing degree in a speciality area
Minimum of five years of clinical and sales experience, preferably in the healthcare field. Candidates with lesser experience in cardiovascular will be considered for a less senior position
Strong ability to engage and interact with customers in a variety of settings including trade shows/conferences, market research, advisory boards, and field interactions
Able to attend cases and provide support in the operating room
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
