One of the largest media companies is recruiting an Advertising Sales Manager, SEA to join the team. This job has become available due to internal restructuring in their Singapore team. In this role, you will be reporting to the VP, Advertising Sales SEA.
About the Advertising Sales Manager, SEA Role:
In this role you will be responsible for cross media platform revenue growth across SE Asia with emphasis on digital sales. You will have previous experience in driving digital strategy, market research and business development in advertising sales.
- Liaising with key clients in Asia and ensuring implementation is based on customised solutions devised for single or multiple markets
- Implement branded solutions and content lead activation in SE Asia by staying up-to-date with digital technology and marketing trends
- Manage revenue growth strategies and sales across all media platforms including digital solutions
- Experience or understanding of programmatic processes, trading desk and solutions will be advantageous to understand how to drive sales
- Set a benchmark for digital led strategies for your assigned customers, leveraging core brand strengths for the company and O&O platforms
- Increase customers ROI across different categories by customising design and digital strategies implementation
- Address client queries effectively in a timely manner. Create ad sales case studies toolkit by analysing and evaluating digital campaigns performance
- Negotiate annual volume deals in consultation with VP Ad sales
- Collaborate with wider management team on long-term growth strategies and yearly budgeting
- Take ownership of complete budget responsibility for digital advertising sales by developing sales strategy, business and revenue forecasting
- Work cohesively and articulate clients briefs (digital first/cross platform solutions) clearly too internal / external stakeholders to derive the most competent and effective sales solutions
To be successful in this Advertising Sales Manager, SEA role you need to be able to build digital solutions, in-depth understanding of online marketing tools and social media platforms for sales and worked with major content publishers
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ad sales/revenue roles
- Strong track record in sales and business development skills
- Must have experience in developing sales strategy; business forecasting & budgeting.
- Previous experience as a Digital Account manager managing clients and agencies is a must
- Understanding of Programmatic Ad sales will be advantageous
- Excellent data analytics on digital platform
- Experience of negotiating large, multinational corporate clients with strong presentation skills
- Team player who contributes to the overall effort to drive business growth and success
- Articulate and is able to speak and write in English impeccably
- Proficiency in a second language will be a bonus to liaise with other SEA markets
