About the Regional Account Manager Role:
In this commercial role, you will be responsible for revenue generation and account development for the non traditional business lines. You will be involve in selling into non automotive aftermarket industries, including the likes of pharmaceutical & health care, building and construction as well as transportation industries.
- Managing all potential leads and driving market penetration in Singapore & Malaysia as well as emerging markets like Thailand and Indonesia
- Driving commercial plans and sales activities with key decision makers in these new verticals
- Working alongside engineering and marketing teams, driving tailored solutions for key customers
- Identifying market trends and implementing pricing strategies aligned with market movements
- Managing complex contracting processes aimed at customer acquisition
To succeed in the Regional Account Manager job, you must be a strong B2B industrial candidate who has an entrepreneurial mind. You should also have some understanding and working experience with motors and sensors, preferably with an electrical engineering degree.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least five years' B2B sales experience with an industrial firm
- Selling experience through channels as well as direct to customers
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills coupled with good negotiation skills
- Excellent communicator who is consultative in approach
- Some technical understanding of motors and sensors would be an added advantage
