Your ability to conduct in-depth research using various tools will be crucial in analysing emerging technology trends. Furthermore, your excellent communication skills will enable you to present your findings effectively.

• Develop, build, and manage effective channels to source innovative companies with solutions relevant to AI and other emerging domains.
• Identify and evaluate potential companies for collaboration ensuring alignment with internal capabilities and strategic goals.
• Conduct in-depth research using various tools and databases to analyse emerging technology trends, startups, established players, patent activity, and industry shifts across regions.
• Present research findings and insights in clear reports to support decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with innovation ecosystem partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to shape and support innovation projects.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Innovation Specialist role brings a wealth of knowledge from a background in Business, Economics, Data Science or Engineering. With 2-5 years of experience in an innovation-focused role under your belt, you have a strong understanding of emerging technologies. Your proficiency in using research platforms allows you to analyse market data effectively. Being well-connected within Singapore’s ICT ecosystem is a plus. Your excellent communication skills enable you to deliver insights effectively while your strong analytical skills allow you to draw meaningful conclusions from complex information.

• Degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in an innovation-focused role including delivery or support of advisory or consulting projects.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, applications, and industry players.
• Proficient in using research platforms and databases to analyse market data.
• Well-connected within Singapore’s ICT, start-up or R&D ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to draw meaningful conclusions from complex information.
