SAP Project Manager

About the SAP Project Manager Role:
This role reports to the Head of Business Support and will allow the successful candidate to work closely with all technology and business stakeholders across the organisation. You will lead the project for implementation of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment (F&R)/Unified Demand Forecast (UDF) modules within the regional headquarters and local retail entities in APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the product owner for the forecast and demand management portfolio in Asia Pacific and build the product roadmap aligned with the global supply chain strategy while adapting solutions fitting to the specific Asia Pacific market requirements
• Lead the project for implementation of SAP F&R/UDF in the Asia Pacific region
• Identify and follow through regional demand planning improvement project
• Work as liaison between supply planning, sales and marketing, to understand various sales, forecast, planning, service and inventory issues
• Liaise with internal project team members and external service providers during project rollouts and implementations
• Respond to cases logged via the ticketing system and escalate matters requiring further resolution to the global team or external providers while also analysing trends to avoid recurrence of issues

To be successful in this role, you will need strong working knowledge of the SAP ERP system with experience with F&R and UDF modules being desirable.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in business, sales and marketing or supply chain with practical experience in forecasting/planning or comparable analytical role, and strong understanding of supply chain, forecasting methodology and inventory management practices
• Good working knowledge of SAP ERP system, SAP F&R/UDF or any other automation systems available in the market, with at least five years of project management in a rollout or implementation of SAP ERP features
• Excellent analytical skills, with demonstrated abilities in forecasting, understanding statistical models and synthesising data from multiple sources
• Strong project management with experience in Agile project methodologies, certification in Scrum Product Owner is an advantage
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead discussions and presentation to senior leadership and other stakeholders, organise and set priorities based on business needs using logical approach in problem solving and adapting to an entrepreneurial mindset
• Open to relocation on a short-to-medium term basis within the Asia Pacific region
