Business Analyst – Global Markets Products

A large financial services institution is seeking a Business Analyst – Global Markets Products. In this job, you will be based in Singapore and be a part of the transformation team.

About the Business Analyst – Global Markets products Role:
The role will sit within the Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting, Tax and Reporting Operations stream and the objective of the role is to work in partnership with project stakeholders and SMEs to elicit and define business requirements, analyse solution viability and document project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encompass requirements engineering focusing on the detailed process flows and data involved in regulatory reporting of OTC derivatives businesses
• Conduct interviewing sessions to identify appropriate and practical solutions meeting the needs of the business and aligning to industry standards
• Interpret and translate analysis results into quality specifications and user stories that are clear and succinct
• System functionality, design and conduct research and analyse options relating to business cases and deliverables to guide business decision-making
• Monitor, track and report on the status of key deliverables to ensure outcomes are met

To be successful in this role, you need to be an experienced Business Analyst in the global markets products domain with specific exposure to regulatory reporting projects.

Key Requirements:

• Business analyst experience in the financial services sector especially investment banking
• Strong domain understanding of global markets products such as Equities, Commodities, Credit, Rates, OTC Derivatives and Securities
• Good understanding of the Regulatory Reporting processes and directives (e.g. SFTR, EMIR, MIFID II, SEC, HKMA)
• Experience creating BRDs and user stories, business process modelling and business architecture
• Excellent client facing and interpersonal skills
