An exciting Warehouse Manager job has become available within the logistics and distribution space working for an international furniture moving and parts manufacturing company in Singapore. This company provides a series of moving services and project management to other businesses as well as end customers and the position will be based out of their warehouse in the West side of Singapore.

About the Warehouse Manager Role:
As an experienced Warehouse Manager, you will lead all personnel towards a common goal in providing excellent service and maintaining a safe yet collaborative working environment. You will oversee operations and be the key contact point that represents the warehouse to internal stakeholders as well as customers, ensuring safe handling of the customer’s products. Thus, relationship management will be an integral part of this role. This is a managerial role with direct reports all based in the warehouse/distribution centre in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ongoing development of warehouse staff, developing standard operating procedures as needed
• Ensure operational compliance to health and safety standards within the warehouse
• Oversee inbound and outbound activities while ensuring smooth processes, inventory management, and that systems are up to date
• Work closely with other managers and staff in sales and operations, and answer to customer inquiries as needed
• Oversee the company’s parts manufacturing to ensure timely delivery to customers

To be successful in this role, you will need to have manage a warehouse operation before with inbound and outbound goods going to and from international destinations. The goods handled here are the customer’s ranging from short-term to long-term storage.

Key Requirements:

• At least fie years in a managerial position leading warehouse operations from either a shipper side or third-party logistics providers
• Willingness to work 5.5 days per week
• Experience in handling internal stakeholder and providing vision towards a better and more efficient operations
• Strong communication skills and well-spoken English as this role will liaise with international clients and some manufacturing operations
