An exciting Supply Chain Manager job within the supply chain planning and procurement space of an international household parts manufacturing company with plants and distribution centres in the region. The company provides a range of products going into residential and corporate sanitary systems and structures. This position is based out of their office in Singapore.
About this Supply Chain Manager Role: This newly created position handles the growing business in the Southeast Asia region. As an experienced Supply Chain Manager, you will manage forecast planning and parts purchasing to produce three main product types. You will also manage all personnel in order processing and planning to work towards a common goal in providing excellent service and maintaining a timely delivery schedule, and accurate inventory levels.
This is a managerial role handling products produced and distributed from Europe and China.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operations of planning, procurement, inventory management, and order fulfilment
Use SAP and Microsoft Excel for all purposes of forecasting and keeping information up to date
Work closely with relevant stakeholders and staff in sales & operations, and answer to inquiries on procedures and policies
Support reporting for sales and procurement relating to budget management
To be successful in this Supply Chain Manager role, you will need experience managing a supply chain team in a multinational company. Even better if you have handled European counterparts. Key Requirements:
Ideally between five to eight years in a managerial position leading a sales and operations team in a supply chain function
Excellent communications and presentation skills to effectively convey value-add to relevant stakeholders
Background working in a multinational company for an understanding of how goods are moved between those regions
Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus to handle some counterparts in China
