Procurement Specialist - 3 Months Contract Renewable

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist for a 3-month renewable contract based in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic global supply chain environment. The successful candidate will provide crucial support in areas such as contract services procurement, contract execution, and supplier onboarding.

What you'll do:

As a Procurement Specialist, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Global Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Managers. You will extend their capabilities by providing tactical contract and procurement support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include onboarding new suppliers, conducting site-specific RFPs, performing commercial bid evaluations, and ensuring timely routing of contracts for signatory. Your ability to navigate changes and ambiguity while maintaining high attention to detail will be key to your success in this role.

• Onboard new Regional/Site suppliers and facilitate vendor screening across different categories.
• Ensure supplier vendor codes are ready in the system for contract issuance prior to the RFP process.
• Conduct regional/site specific RFPs of multiple sites in parallel and perform commercial bid evaluation.
• Critically appraise contracts documents to ensure requisite quality.
• Prepare Award Recommendation Letter (ARL) to GSC and DCE.
• Coordinate with related stakeholders to ensure timely routing of contract for signatory.

You are well-versed in program/project management, with a proven track record of managing high demands while maintaining attention to detail. Your cost management experience from a procurement perspective will be invaluable in this role. You are comfortable navigating changes and ambiguity, always willing to learn, proactive in taking on new tasks independently, and driven with minimal supervision required. A strong understanding of the business and a strong sense of accountability are also key attributes that you bring.

• Minimum 5 years of Indirect Sourcing (Procurement) experience.
• Experience in Contract management.
• Well-versed in program / project management.
• Cost (commercial) management experience from a procurement perspective.
• Good decision making skills and ability to navigate changes and ambiguity.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and taking on new tasks independently.
• Strong understanding of the business and strong sense of accountability.
