SOURCING SPECIALIST - TOYS & SPORTING GOODS (Retail) Salary: $65,000pa + bonus Location: Singapore

Our client is seeking a Sourcing Specialist for Toys and Sporting Goods portfolio. The role offers an attractive salary package of $65,000 per annum + bonus. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing vendors, developing products, and managing day-to-day operations. This includes supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification, and order follow-up. You'll also be tasked with trade terms negotiation and vendor set up, ensuring on-time shipment and critical path management.

What you'll do:

As a Sourcing Specialist for Toys & Sporting Goods, your role will be multifaceted. You will be at the forefront of sourcing vendors and developing products that align with the buying team's objectives. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in monitoring day-to-day operations, which include supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification, and order follow-up. Your strong negotiation skills will come into play when dealing with trade terms negotiation and vendor setup. You will also ensure on-time shipment and manage critical paths effectively.

* Source vendors and develop products according to the objectives and requirements from the buying team.

* Monitor day-to-day operation including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow up.

* Responsible for trade terms negotiation and vendor set up.

* Ensure on time shipment & Critical Path management.

* Manage vendor relationship and KPI measurements.

* Communicate daily with buyers and vendors to ensure programs are delivered as per schedule.

* Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply chain and packaging team.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sourcing Specialist role brings experience in related product categories. With 3 to 5 years under your belt, you have a deep understanding of the international retail industry or sourcing industry. Your experience in a Sourcing/Buying office would be advantageous. You're familiar with the sourcing landscape across China, Southeast Asia, India, and Pakistan. Your knowledge extends to supply chain optimization processes.

* Degree holder highly preferred

* 3 to 5 years of experience in related product categories

* Familiarity with sourcing landscape in China, Southeast Asia, India and Pakistan

* Understanding of regulatory requirements for U.S. & European market

* Familiarity with supply chain optimization process

* Proficient knowledge of Excel PIVOT table and VLOOKUP functions
