An exhilarating opportunity has emerged for a Vendor Program Manager (12 months) to become part of a vibrant and inventive team. This role presents the chance to cultivate robust, cooperative relationships with vendor managers throughout the organisation, oversee global outsourcing programs, and synergise with a variety of internal stakeholders. This is a contract position for 12 months based in Singapore.

What you'll do:

As a Vendor Program Manager, you will be at the heart of cultivating robust, cooperative relationships with vendor managers throughout the organisation. You will take charge of overseeing global outsourcing programs and synergising with various internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Legal, Procurement, and Finance. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, managing contractual signatory processes, reviewing invoices for compliance against budget, conducting business reviews, and devising process optimisation strategies. This role calls for a meticulous individual who thrives in navigating ambiguity and is passionate about creating innovative processes and solutions.

  • Cultivate robust, cooperative relationships with vendor managers across the organisation
  • Oversee global outsourcing programs with selected vendors
  • Synergise with Engineering and other internal stakeholders to address vendor performance issues
  • Work together with Legal, Procurement, Finance and other stakeholders to onboard new third-party vendors, conduct risk assessments, manage contractual signatory process
  • Review invoices on a monthly basis to ensure compliance against budget
  • Conduct business reviews with internal business stakeholders to keep them updated on the business spend and contractual activities
  • Devise process optimisation strategies to streamline contractual activities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Vendor Program Manager role will bring a wealth of vendor management or procurement experience. You will possess exceptional writing and communication skills, coupled with experience in managing complex and large-scale vendor programs. A strong operational background is essential, along with a proven history of making data-driven decisions. Experience in program managing RFx process end to end is highly desirable. You will be detail-oriented, organised, and able to reprioritise tasks on a weekly basis. Thriving in navigating ambiguity and passion for creating innovative processes and solutions are key attributes for success in this role.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of vendor management / procurement experience
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Experience in managing complex and large scale vendor programs
  • Strong operational background with a history of making data driven decisions; managing global operations is a plus
  • Experience in program managing RFx process end to end
  • Detail oriented and organised with the ability to reprioritise tasks on a weekly basis
