SENIOR PLANNER - APAC Medical Device Salary: $98,000 > $115,000 Hybrid

A leading global medtech organisation is seeking a Senior Planner for the APAC region, based in Singapore. What you'll do:

As a Senior Planner (APAC) based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the replenishment execution and optimisation of trade stock inventories at the regional hub facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analysing complex data sets to determine optimal inventory balances for multiple markets, managing regional initiatives with precision, interfacing with global stakeholders, monitoring customer service levels, governing country requirements, gathering market intelligence, guiding teams on key parameters such as safety stocks and lead times, reviewing stock levels regularly, managing allocation processes for critical products, preparing actionable reports for cluster meetings, maintaining master data records for plants lists, developing repeatable processes for KPI extraction and reporting, supporting departmental initiatives with analytical tools, and complying with all HSE and quality policies.

* Conduct formal and scheduled data analysis to determine optimal inventory balances for assigned markets across the APAC region, ensuring efficient stock management.

* Manage and maintain regional inventory initiatives using robust data analysis techniques to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

* Interface regularly with global planners, master planners, and management teams to align on regional inventory strategies and support cross-functional projects.

* Monitor end customer service levels in countries served by the APAC hub, recommending changes in inventory policy as needed to maximise service quality.

* Collaborate with country teams to gather market intelligence such as forecast trends, tenders, and new product launches (NPL), providing valuable insights for business planning.

* Provide guidance to country teams on reviewing parameters like safety stocks and lead times, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

* Prepare relevant information for S&OE Cluster huddles, taking proactive actions outside meetings to improve inventory health and allocation execution.

What you bring:

You will bring proven expertise in supply chain planning gained over at least seven years within large-scale organisations. Your technical proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Power will allow you to manage complex inventory processes seamlessly. Advanced Excel skills will empower you to conduct thorough analyses that inform strategic decisions. If you have experience with planning systems like Rapid Response or similar platforms, you will be well-equipped to handle sophisticated forecasting tasks. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain management forms the foundation of your knowledge base; APICS CSCP or CPIM certification further enhances your credentials.

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain management or equivalent qualification is required for this role.

* APICS CSCP or CPIM certification is considered advantageous but not mandatory.

* At least 7 years of hands-on experience in supply chain planning or inventory management roles within large-scale organisations.

* Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Power is essential for effective performance in this position.

* Experience with planning systems like Rapid Response or similar platforms is highly desirable.

* Advanced Excel skills are necessary for conducting detailed data analysis and reporting tasks.

* Strong interpersonal skills are vital for collaborating effectively with global planners, master planners, management teams, and country representatives.

* Excellent analytical abilities enable you to interpret complex data sets accurately and provide actionable recommendations.

* A deep understanding of both business operations and service provision sides of an organisation will help you excel in this role.
