An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production & Demand Planner in Singapore to join a cutting-edge electronics & networking manufacturer. This role offers a competitive salary package between $65,000 and $92,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning production schedules and deliveries to meet customer orders and buffer stock build. They will work closely with various teams to ensure efficient manufacturability, standardization, and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with ERP Systems.
What you'll do:
As a Production & Demand Planner, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the production process. You will be tasked with formulating, executing, and controlling production plans based on forecast releases and historical sales trends. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you manage potential material shortages that could disrupt production. You'll also have the chance to collaborate with various teams such as R&D, Engineering, and QA to achieve efficient manufacturability, standardization, and quality.
* Planning of production schedule and delivery to meet customer orders & buffer stock build
* Generating & reviewing forecasting data together with historical trend to determine the buying plan for material and production build
* Formulating, executing and controlling production plans based on forecast release and historical sales trend
* Working closely with team to monitor, track and alert material shortage so as not to jeopardise production build
* Managing and controlling production plan and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand and lead time
* Liaising with R&D, Engineering & QA team where required so as to achieve efficient manufacturability, standardization & quality
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Production & Demand Planner role will bring a wealth of experience from the supply chain or production planning sector. With at least 3 years of relevant experience under your belt, preferably within the semiconductor or manufacturing industries, you are well-versed in handling suppliers and managing complex systems. Your strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting will be invaluable in this role. Your initiative, independence, organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities set you apart from others.
* Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain preferred
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or production planning
* Experience in semiconductor/manufacturing industries
* Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
* Familiarity with ERP System
* Experience in handling and managing supplier
* Good interpersonal skills
* Initiative and independence
