Production Planner - Renewables

Our client is a pioneering leader in transforming waste carbon into renewable solutions. They are seeking an experienced Planner to plan and optimise the supply and production of renewable feedstocks and finished products across global markets. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient shipments of feedstocks from source to refineries or third-party customers, as well as the distribution of finished products to intermediate terminals or distribution sites.

What you'll do:

As a Production Planner, you will play a pivotal role in planning and optimising the supply and production planning process.

You will be responsible for managing the flow of production for one or multiple products while collaborating with site production teams to ensure resources are available when needed. You will also work closely with quality control, refinery team, and logistics on supply/shipment of products. Your organisational skills will be put to use as you coordinate various aspects such as scheduling, production planning, resource allocation, and inventory management & control.

  • Understanding of production workflows, including production cycle, raw materials, capacities etc.
  • Planning and prioritising tasks to optimise performance and minimise delays.
  • Collaborating with site production teams to facilitate resources needed for production.
  • Working closely with quality control, refinery team, and logistics on supply/shipment of products.
  • Coordinating various aspects such as scheduling, production planning, resource allocation, and inventory management & control.
  • Addressing issues, setbacks, or quality control quickly to recover the situation and minimise disruptions.
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Production Planner role will be experienced & can work in a start-up environment. You will need to be hands-on. You will have an excellent understanding of production planning and quality control principles, and be familiar with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) systems. Your working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems will be put to good use in this role.

  • Willingness to work in a start-up environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or relevant experience as a production planner.
  • Excellent understanding of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced demanding environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
