Demand Planning Manager

About the Demand Planning Manager Role:
This role reports to the Supply Chain Director and will allow the successful candidate to work closely with all supply chain and business functions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct commercial demand forecasting, reviewing, and confirming usage plans in line with sales and market performance
• Lead S&OP for each country, creating mitigation plans and escalating supply risks
• Lead investigations to supply chain issues and implement solutions
• Develop plans from demand analysis (sales and forecast data, new product introduction, business development and partnering activities), that achieve customer service and inventory targets
• Coordinate supply inventory for issue resolution such as recall and annual activities inventory checks
• Create, develop and monitor key KPIs to ensure business goals are met
• Collate, analyse and present data monthly via dashboards
• Optimise supply chain planning processes with CMO and associated warehouse SCM activities
• Help to accelerate the deployment of business plans with implementation of D365 ERP system and develop tools and reports to improve efficiency of the planning process

To succeed in this Demand Planning Manager role, you will need strong end-to-end knowledge of supply and demand planning with any experience working within pharmaceutical, medical devices or life sciences being desirable.

Key Requirements:

• 5 - 10 years’ experience of supply chain management, inclusive of supply and demand planning and management of outsourced manufacturing and/or distribution services
• Degree in pharmaceutical, life sciences, engineering, business or associated supply chain qualifications is preferred
• Be an expert in supply chain planning and forecasting and digital solutions such as MRP/ERP systems
• Be highly computer literate, with advanced skills in applications such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI
• Be a positive and proactive self-starter with flexibility and passion for success
• Demonstrated excellent project leadership and management skills
• Due to the nature of the role, good fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin, with Japanese as a desirable trait but not essential
