Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities professional in either a Senior Specialist or Manager capacity. This role offers an attractive salary package between $75,000 and $90,000. As the on-site key point of contact for employees and IFM vendors, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving soft facilities (landscaping, pantry, events, cleaning etc) operation issues. You will also ensure that all key IFM performance indicators are met as per the management contract.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Specialist/Manager, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the on-site key point of contact for both employees and IFM vendors. You will work closely with the IFM vendor to manage and resolve any arising soft facilities operation issues. Your role will also involve engaging proactively with internal stakeholders at various levels of the organisation to ensure service expectations are met. Additionally, you will oversee the contractor management program, provide advisory support to the IFM vendor on operational issues, review monthly financial reports, and prepare monthly management reports.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met
- Develop effective stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation
- Implement escalation procedures for problem reporting
- Manage the contractor management program
- Provide advisory to IFM vendor on operational issues
- Review monthly financial reports including preparation of accruals and variance
- Prepare monthly management report for Management Committee and IFM committee
- Administer the master data for approval process in vendor's application
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this position brings over five years of experience in managing various soft facilities. Candidates with training and experience from hospitality and service industries would be highly welcomed. Exposure to office, laboratory or manufacturing environments would be advantageous. Knowledge of vendor management for outsourced services is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in facilities management, building, business, engineering or other related field is required.
