Semicon - Outsourced Manufacturing (Director / VP)

Operations Director / VP – Outsourced Manufacturing Semicon / Fabless Salary Package: 250k > 300k Location: Singapore

As head of external manufacturing, this role will be pivotal in developing the manufacturing footprint in Asia, setting up a regional hub in Singapore, and overseeing all remote operations teams in Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will manage worldwide OSAT manufacturing partners, ensuring manufacturing aligns with the company's requirements.

What you'll do:

Your primary responsibility will be managing all worldwide outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) manufacturing partners. You will ensure that manufacturing aligns with the company's stringent requirements including OEE, yield, quality, capacities, throughputs, lead time. You will also oversee the company-owned test equipment at these OSAT partners and ensure that manufacturing services are executed correctly against good costs. In addition to these responsibilities, you will supervise various teams across multiple locations.

* Manage all worldwide outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) manufacturing partners

* Ensure manufacturing aligns with company's requirements including OEE, yield, quality, capacities, throughputs, lead time

* Oversee owned test equipment at these OSAT partners

* Ensure manufacturing services are executed correctly against good costs

* Management team integration

* Oversee regional OSAT operation director and resident engineers across multiple locations

* Manage Global Test Development and Quality, Process and Project Management Office, Package Engineering & Quality teams

* Supervise Supply Chain function in Thailand and Singapore

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this role brings extensive experience from the Semiconductor industry within an Operations domain. With a minimum of 10 years' experience under your belt, you have developed an affinity for engineering and complex supply chains. Your analytical skills enable you to build a strategic vision and translate it into operational activities. You have experience managing external companies and working with diverse cultures. A background in Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Supply Chain environment will be highly beneficial.

* 10 years+ experience in Semiconductor or High Tech in Operations domain

* Msc education

* Experience in managing external companies

* Affinity with engineering and complex supply chains

* Analytic skill base

* Ability to build strategic vision and translate it into operational activities

* Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing and / or Supply Chain environment
