Logistics Executive - 1 year Renewable

What you'll do:
As a Logistics Executive based in Singapore, you will be responsible for orchestrating seamless logistics operations across Southeast Asia. Your day-to-day activities will involve close coordination with both external distributors and internal stakeholders to ensure that products are delivered efficiently and meet all quality standards. You will be expected to manage transportation logistics from sourcing locations through customs clearance to final delivery points while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. Success in this role will require you to monitor key performance metrics diligently, leverage advanced digital tools for reporting and analysis, and foster strong collaborative relationships across multiple departments. Your ability to balance operational demands with broader business objectives will be crucial as you contribute to the overall success of the business unit.
- Oversee all logistics activities supporting the business unit across Southeast Asia, ensuring efficient deployment from sourcing locations through to final delivery.
- Manage primary transportation arrangements including customs clearance, import and export documentation, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Liaise closely with country distributors throughout Southeast Asia to coordinate primary invoicing processes and maintain strong working relationships.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Planning, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Sales to provide timely and accurate stock deliveries.
- Monitor key performance indicators including cost management, deployment accuracy, quality standards, service levels, and adherence to company processes.
- Ensure effective 3PL (third-party logistics) and distributor management by maintaining high standards of communication and operational excellence.
- Utilise advanced systems such as Excel (including Power Pivot), SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and process optimisation.
- Apply sound commercial acumen to interpret complex statistical information and support data-driven decision making within the logistics function.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for operational enhancement while balancing business priorities with day-to-day requirements.
What you bring:
To excel as a Logistics Executive in this role, you will bring substantial experience managing end-to-end supply chain functions within Southeast Asia or similar markets. Your background should include hands-on involvement with third-party logistics providers as well as direct distributor networks. Familiarity with cold chain requirements is essential given the nature of product handling involved. You will have developed robust knowledge of customs procedures along with relevant trade agreements impacting import/export activities. Advanced digital literacy—particularly using Excel for data manipulation (including Power Pivot), SAP for enterprise resource planning, Power BI for analytics—is vital. Your proven track record should demonstrate strong project management capabilities supported by excellent analytical skills. Effective communication is key; you must be able to build rapport across diverse teams while presenting complex information clearly. A collaborative spirit combined with commercial insight will enable you to navigate challenges creatively while supporting shared goals. Adaptability is also important as you respond positively to changes affecting operational procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management and logistics operations within a regional or international context.
- Proven experience managing 3PL providers as well as direct market distribution channels across multiple countries.
- In-depth understanding of cold chain logistics processes including temperature-sensitive product handling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of customs clearance procedures, free trade agreements, import/export regulations specific to Southeast Asia.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Power Pivot), SAP ECC (highly required), Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Strong project management skills combined with an analytical mindset capable of interpreting complex datasets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels both verbally and in writing.
