An exciting and fast-paced Customer Service Manager job opportunity has become available working for an international chemical manufacturing and energy company within the supply chain and logistics space based in Singapore. This company supplies to other businesses in at least 22 countries and always aims to create sustainable fuels for the world.
About the Customer Service Manager Role: As an experienced Customer Service Manager, you will report to the Senior Customer Service Manager of Asia. You will balance the role of team lead with direct reports in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Middle East. You will hit the ground running in supervising and managing the logistics and customer service department while keeping a close relationship with customers to resolve issues and ensure compliance. This is a people-manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement regional customer fulfilment strategies, KPIs and procedures to achieve regional growth objectives
Be responsible for staff development, planning and budgeting to foster a high-performing culture
Manage employees, activities and resources in the region
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience and efficiency and build sustainable relationships
Represent company's interest in industry and other associations
Monitor the receiving and management of orders from initial submission into SAP through delivery and completion
To be successful in this role, you will need an end-to-end understanding of the logistics and order processing functions.
Key Requirements:
At least five years in a managerial position leading the logistics and order processing functions in a chemical background
Degree in business, logistics or engineering
Past usage of SAP systems (especially SD) for order processing
Strong communication skills and well-spoken in English as this role will liaise with international offices and manufacturing plants
Hands-on sales and customer service experience
