Save job

A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Regional Brand Manager Oncology to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of oncology brands in cluster countries within APAC region. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to leverage your expertise in strategic and operational marketing, working closely with affiliate teams and stakeholders at all levels to drive impactful launches and sustainable growth.

What you'll do:

As Regional Brand Manager Oncology, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility for shaping both strategy and execution across multiple markets. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with affiliate teams to ensure that regional marketing strategies are not only developed but also effectively implemented. You will be instrumental in facilitating successful product launches and managing ongoing brand performance through insightful analysis and agile adaptation of tactics. By fostering strong relationships with stakeholders from various functions including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and market access, you will help create integrated plans that drive business results. Your ability to deliver engaging training sessions will empower affiliate teams to excel in their roles while your leadership in digital initiatives will keep the brands at the forefront of customer engagement trends. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution skills, empathy for team members’ needs, and a passion for making a positive impact on patient care throughout the region.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing strategies for oncology brands, ensuring alignment with global objectives while adapting plans to local market needs.
  • Collaborate closely with affiliate teams across the region to maximise sales results through effective communication, sharing of best practices, and generation of actionable insights.
  • Enhance market understanding by implementing relevant marketing tools, conducting competitive intelligence activities, and identifying new opportunities for brand growth.
  • Drive the creation of cross-functional affiliate marketing plans that link clear brand strategies with well-defined tactical execution steps.
  • Facilitate state-of-the-art product launches and future oncology products, ensuring robust life cycle management and acceleration of current business growth.
  • Deliver training sessions and onboarding activities for affiliate marketing teams to strengthen competencies and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Support affiliates in analysing key market drivers and barriers, formulating strategic plans that capitalise on emerging opportunities within the oncology therapeutic area.
  • Act as a central interface between affiliates, business areas, regional leadership, and corporate headquarters to ensure full alignment of commercial priorities.
  • Develop or adapt promotional materials and lead digital initiatives aimed at increasing brand visibility and customer engagement across the region.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as sales targets, market share, and profitability objectives while providing regular feedback to optimise operational plans.

What you bring:

To excel as Regional Brand Manager Oncology, you will bring proven experience from strategic roles within pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing environments. Your background should include hands-on involvement in both planning and executing multi-country campaigns as well as supporting local affiliates through change management processes. A deep understanding of oncology or related therapeutic areas will allow you to quickly grasp key market dynamics while your analytical mindset ensures that every initiative is grounded in robust data analysis. Your interpersonal skills will shine as you collaborate with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds—building trust-based relationships that facilitate open communication and shared success. Experience managing budgets and overseeing project delivery under tight deadlines demonstrates your dependability. Fluency in English enables you to communicate clearly across regions while your openness to frequent travel reflects your commitment to being present where you are needed most. Above all else, your enthusiasm for nurturing talent within affiliate teams sets you apart as someone who thrives on helping others grow professionally.

  • A university degree in Science or Business (or equivalent), with postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration considered advantageous for this role.
  • At least three years’ experience in strategic and operational marketing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is essential for success.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working at an affiliate level is required; combined regional and operational experience would be highly beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to oncology brands or therapeutic areas is preferred; candidates with broader pharmaceutical backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing marketing strategies, branding initiatives, public relations campaigns, and successful product launches is necessary.
  • Experience working in at least two countries outside your home country will enable you to bring valuable international perspectives to the team.
  • Prior sales experience is considered an asset but not mandatory for this position.
  • Strong analytical skills including marketing planning, budgeting expertise, financial management capabilities, and data-driven decision-making are important.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects within tight timelines while maintaining attention to detail is crucial for this multifaceted role.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required; willingness to travel up to 50% within the business area (and occasionally internationally) is expected.
