What you'll do:

As a Regional Product Manager based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of taste experiences across Asia-Pacific. Your daily activities will involve managing diverse product portfolios while driving innovation through close collaboration with technical experts, marketing professionals, and global counterparts. You will be responsible for identifying market needs, developing robust business cases for new projects, guiding cross-functional teams towards successful commercialisation of products, and ensuring seamless launches both internally and externally. By connecting scientific advancements with consumer trends, you will help deliver exceptional value propositions that resonate throughout the region. Your ability to foster strong relationships across departments will be key to achieving sales targets while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

  • Manage assigned regional product and technology portfolios to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the definition, development, and commercialisation of regionally-driven product development projects by collaborating with technical and marketing teams.
  • Act as the regional subject matter expert for assigned products and technologies while working closely with global product managers.
  • Utilise collections as internal promotional tools for new products and technologies in partnership with portfolio managers.
  • Identify product and technology needs and gaps within the region; measure opportunities and establish business justification for new projects.
  • Create compelling business cases for regional opportunities by working with sub-regions on sales projections, regulatory requirements, and product performance expectations.
  • Represent APAC interests to global product managers and science & technology groups to ensure successful project commercialisation.
  • Guide regional projects with delegated stakeholders to meet deliverables according to defined needs while promoting commercialisation efforts led by both regional and global teams.
  • Prepare internal technical groups for external launches of new products; support customer-facing activities such as promotional planning, training sessions, sales visits, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with category and marketing managers to develop value propositions that connect scientific capabilities with consumer insights.

What you bring:

To excel as a Regional Product Manager in Singapore, your background should reflect substantial experience within technical fields related to food science or chemistry.   • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Food Science, Biology or Chemistry is required for this position.
  • A solid technical background or proven B2B marketing/commercial/customer experience within the food or flavour industry is essential.
  • At least ten years’ experience in technical innovation or R&D environments with demonstrated success influencing commercial or marketing colleagues is highly desirable.
  • Deep product knowledge developed through hands-on experience working alongside people from technical, innovation, and commercial backgrounds is expected.
  • Exceptional project management skills enabling you to guide complex initiatives from conception through commercialisation are necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities allowing you to collaborate effectively across regions and disciplines are vital for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills are needed to articulate business cases clearly to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • A keen understanding of competitor products along with the ability to recommend corrective responses is important for maintaining market leadership.
  • Experience preparing technical teams for product launches as well as supporting customer-facing activities such as training sessions or sales visits is beneficial.
  • Ability to work within an inclusive team culture that values diversity drives innovation is highly valued.
